Voice & Live Conversation Translator
Speak instead of type. Rosetta translates your voice and reads the answer aloud — or run a two-way conversation on a single phone.
Translate your voice, hands-free
Tap the microphone and speak — Rosetta transcribes your words, translates them into 40+ languages, and reads the translation aloud. Great for pronunciation, travel and quick spoken questions.
Two-way conversation on one phone
Conversation mode is built for talking to someone face to face when you don’t share a language. Each person picks their language and taps their button; Rosetta translates what they say and speaks the reply aloud in the other person’s language — back and forth, on a single device. For calls, use the video call translator with live subtitles.
How to have a translated conversation
- Open Conversation mode — this page opens Rosetta on the Conversation tab.
- Set both languages — pick what Person A speaks and what Person B speaks.
- Tap and talk — Person A taps their button and speaks; Rosetta translates and reads it aloud for Person B.
- Reply the same way — Person B taps their button and answers. Keep going, back and forth.
